If you or someone you know may be experiencing elder abuse, please call the Elder Abuse Resource Line at (403) 705-3250.

To make a report on a suspected case of elder abuse, please call the police non-emergency line at (403) 266-1234.

If this is an emergency or someone you know is at immediate risk, please call 911.

Kerby Centre Support Programs 

Adult Day Programs (An assessment is required by Alberta Health Services to enter the program.

Kerby Shelter – The Kerby Shelter is a safe place for men and women 55+ who are experiencing elder abuse.

Elder Abuse Response Team (EART) – A collaboration between Carya, Kerby Centre, and the Calgary Police Service.

THRIVE program – Grocery delivery program and supportive visits.

Social Calls – Connect with us at Kerby Centre to be matched with a volunteer for regular check-in/social calls.

Cyber-Seniors – provides seniors with tech-training using an intergenerational, youth volunteer model.
