Native plants are uniquely adapted to growing in our climate. This course will teach you about how and why native plant species are beneficial for the home garden including: providing habitat for native pollinators, and reducing watering requirements. Over four classes you will learn how to recognize and grow over a dozen native perennial species. Living plant samples will be brought in to give you a hands-on learning experience.
