Information is available on a variety of health related topics. Some of these topics include weight control, breast self-examination, the proper use of medications, home support, understanding medical conditions, disabilities, and much more.
Drop-in for a regular health check including blood pressure, blood glucose, and/or weight. This can be weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly - whatever is required.
Foot Clinic: Basic foot care is provided for disabled seniors. This service is designed to help people with vision problems, arthritis, diabetes and other medical conditions which prevent adequate foot care. An appointment is required. The cost is $10.00 for Kerby members, $15.00 for non-members.
FREE Nutrition Screening: Healthy eating is important thoughout life. The screen procedure identifies areas of concern and offers referrals to other programs. Drop in to Kerby Wellness on Tuesdays from 9:00 - 11:30 am or Thursdays from 1:00 - 3:30 pm.
Cardiovascular and thoracic consultations are provided by a retired heart specialist. An appointment is required.
