The Resource Library offers an array of resources available to seniors, students, professionals and the general public. Topics include seniors' health, exercise and leisure, family relationships and care giving, death and dying, grief, loneliness, terminal care, wills and personal directives, addictions, and elder abuse.

    The Resource Library provides:

  • Books, journals, videos, reports, and articles.

  • A comprehensive collection of self-help books for older persons and their families.

  • Academic resources in the field of gerontology. These include journals, some of which are not currently available elsewhere in Calgary.

  • A reference collection that includes demographic and statistical information for the local area, province, and across Canada.

  • A searchable on-line database of the library collection in the Resource Library.

Reference services are provided by a professional librarian. Queries are welcome by phone, in person, or by e-mail. Books and videos may be borrowed for three weeks.
