About Diana James
Diana James was born in England and adopted by a Canadian couple who lived a pampered life in Japan before being forced to leave Japan in 1941 when they returned to Canada. Diana was a RCAF Flight Sargent attached to the operational intelligence unit and stationed in England for part of her service. She did not marry – nor have children. She enjoyed watching her twin sister’s children grow up.
Diana worked at the General Hospital as a forensic photographer and she traveled the world. We are blessed to have her original writings of some of her trips as she kept summaries of each of them.
Diana’s relationship with Kerby is delightful! She was an excellent pool player and she was for many years the only woman playing. AND she was so good she always won – so the men tried to sneak in and play without her, but somehow she knew and she would come in and whoop them!
In Diana’s will she was very kind to Kerby. She left her estate of $1.4 million dollars to Kerby Centre and it is our honour to dedicate a small portion of the funds to update the Wellness Clinic to the Diana James Wellness Clinic.
