We thrive because of people like you—our members, volunteers, friends, and staff, who raise 58% of our annual operating budget. The ability of Kerby Centre to fulfill its mission: “to assist older people to live as well as possible for as long as possible as residents in the community” hinges on the continued success of our fundraising efforts. Throughout the year we host special events like galas, concerts, bingos and raffles which help us to raise funds and keep the Calgary community involved in what’s happening at Kerby. But the core of our funding comes from direct community support—individual donors such as you and foundations and corporations that understand and appreciate the value of the services we offer.
