Kerby Centre is the place to be if you're over 60! Located at the western edge of Calgary's downtown, the Centre provides an array of active living programs and
preventive services. Established in 1973, the Centre has been dedicated since its inception to enhancing the quality of life for older persons.
Kerby Centre was founded as an organization that would be run by seniors, for seniors. The Board of Directors is comprised entirely of seniors and is responsible for the
operation of Kerby Centre. Assisting the Board are forty professional staff and over 600 volunteers. Every year more than 32,000 people use Kerby Centre. Membership is not
required to access services.
Kerby membership does have its benefits: Kerby News mailed to your home, access to the parking lot, and early course registration. And, of course, the opportunity to stand
for the Board of Directors. Membership runs on a calendar year and is open to anyone 60-plus for $18/year. Each year over 4000 seniors enjoy the benefits of membership.
Kerby Tours: get a view of the action! Tours originate from main floor reception on Thursdays.
